1 cup rice uncooked
1 pkg Knorr onion soup mix
1 can vegetable broth
water - enough to make 21 ounces with the broth
3/4 stick butter
1 cup fresh mushrooms diced
1 cup water chestnuts diced
salt & pepper to taste
Mix all ingredients in a 2-quart casserole dish.
Bake at 325 degrees for 1-1 ½ hours
